Accurate tungsten sharpening provides a more stable arc, easier arc starting, improved weld quality, reduced contamination, consistent weld beads, higher welding speed, longer tungsten life, and better control on thin materials.
Our Tungsten Grinder is a professional precision tool designed for safely sharpening tungsten electrodes. It operates on 110–120 V, 60 Hz and provides high-accuracy grinding, essential for consistent arc performance.
Safety is very important and essential when grinding all tungsten electrodes, especially thoriated (red) electrodes, as harmful particles and vapors may be released. To ensure maximum protection, all grinding is performed inside a sealed storage chamber, keeping dust and particles fully contained. Through a small discharge port, the collected material can be safely emptied later.
This grinder supports a wide adjustable grinding angle range from 0° to 60°, and can handle one of the widest tungsten diameter ranges in the market , from 1.6 mm to 5.0 mm.
It also comes with a one-year warranty, ensuring reliability and peace of mind for professional users.

The warranty applies from the date of purchase and covers any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance. In most cases, our warranty includes 4 years of protection—but depending on the specific product and its components, coverage may vary in length and type.
To benefit fully from this warranty, products must be registered on our website within 40 days of purchase. Failure to register may result in the warranty starting from the manufacturing date instead of the purchase date. Warranty claims must follow the proper procedures, including submitting proof of purchase and completing the online form provided on our site.
Please note that repairs must be performed by Canaweld-authorized service centers, and shipping charges to and from service centers are the customer’s responsibility. Some exclusions apply, including consumable parts and misuse or damage caused by improper operation or installation.
