Portable Powerhouse for Versatile Welding Jobs

I've been in the welding game for quite some time now and let me tell you, the Stickwelder 201 D-Cell is one solid piece of kit. It's portable, powerful, and very versatile - a real workhorse. I love that it's Ontario made, always nice to support local.

I've thrown a variety of tasks at it and it hasn't missed a beat. Welding with cellulosic electrodes like 6010 and 6011 was a breeze. I've also used rutile, basic, and stainless-steel electrodes, and it handled them all without any fuss.

One of the biggest tests for me was using it on different materials. I’ve used it on steel, stainless, and aluminum. The Stickwelder 201 D-Cell came through like a champ in every scenario. The finished welds were clean and strong, exactly what you want in any job.

The fact that it can do TIG welding with a lift is a massive plus. It's not every day you find a machine that offers this kind of versatility.

There’s room for improvement, no denying that. A more detailed user manual could have been helpful, especially for beginners. But overall, it's a sturdy machine that delivers on its promises. If you're a welder, novice or seasoned, you might want to give this one a look.

I've also tried it on rutile, basic, and stainless-steel electrodes and it handled them like a champ. The versatility is a big bonus. And let me tell you, the TIG welding with a lift is a game changer. This feature alone has saved me so much time and effort.

The fact that it's Ontario made adds a nice touch too. It feels good to support local businesses. Overall, the Stickwelder 201 D-Cell has been a great addition to my garage. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to up their welding game.

Reliable and Portable Stickwelder for Everyday Welding Jobs

I've been using the Stickwelder 201 D-Cell for a couple of weeks now. Gotta say, I'm pretty impressed. This little beast is Ontario made and has been a game-changer for my welding work. It's portable, so it's not a hassle to carry around the shop or to a job site, which is a nice change from some of the hefty machines I've worked with in the past.

One thing I really dig is the versatility. I've thrown a variety of different electrodes at it - 6010, 6011, even rutile, basic, and stainless-steel electrodes. It's handled them all without a hitch. The machine seems to be specially designed for these types of electrodes, and it shows in the quality of the welds.

I had a job last week where I had to weld some aluminum. Now, I've worked with machines in the past that struggled with aluminum, so I was a bit apprehensive. But the Stickwelder 201 D-Cell handled it fine. No fuss, no muss. Just a solid, clean weld. It's also capable of doing TIG welding with a lift, which is a great feature to have in your back pocket.

I've gotta say, the Stickwelder 201 D-Cell took me by surprise. The first time I fired it up, I was immediately hit with a wave of nostalgia. It's like an old friend coming back around, reminding me of the old gear I used to trust.

This bad boy is robust, yet surprisingly portable, which is a lifesaver when you're on the move like me. I've been in some pretty tight spots and the compact size of the Stickwelder 201 D-Cell really shines in those situations.

I've mainly been using it for stick welding and it flawlessly handles 6010s and 6011s. I've also had a crack at some rutile, basic, and stainless-steel electrodes, and let me tell you, this little machine didn't miss a beat. The output is steady and the arc control is top-notch. It truly is a versatile piece of kit.

Recently, I've been dabbling in a bit of TIG welding, and the lift start on this thing is as smooth as butter. It's not the main feature of this welder, but it's nice to have when you need it.

The fact that it's Ontario made is the cherry on top. It's a reliable machine that's built to last. So, if you're like me, and you're after a welder that's a jack of all trades, give the Stickwelder 201 D-Cell a spin. You won't regret it.
