Reliable and Powerful, Perfect for Precision Welding

Just got my hands on the TIG AC/DC 281 Pulse and man, this thing is a beast. It's got some serious power, but what's really impressive is its portability. Despite being a heavy-duty machine, you can lug this bad boy around the shop without breaking a sweat. And it's made right here in Ontario, which is a big plus in my book.

I've been using it mainly for repairs and small fabrication tasks, and it's been a dream. The professional pulse feature is the real deal - it lets you lay down some really high-quality TIG welds. I've been working on some pretty thin materials lately, and there's been absolutely no distortion.

And let me tell you about the HF start - it's a game changer. Makes starting the arc a breeze and gives you that smooth, stable arc control you need for precision work.

In all, I'm pretty stoked with the TIG AC/DC 281 Pulse. It's a versatile machine that's well worth the investment. Can't wait to see what else this machine can do.

But the real test for me happened when my main welder decided to call it quits in the middle of a big job. The TIG AC/DC 281 Pulse stepped up to the plate as a solid backup and it didn't disappoint.
